2. Services Overview

ParadiseSTP.com provides information and booking services for:

  • Guided adventure tours (4×4, Boat, JetSki, Banana Boat).

  • Private transfers and luxury experiences in São Tomé and Príncipe.

  • Bespoke “Lunch on the Beach” dining experiences.

  • Land acquisition consulting services for titled beachfront and seaview properties.

All services are operated by Turismo Paraíso na Terra LTDA, a locally licensed tourism company.

3. Booking & Payments

3.1. Booking Process

All bookings are made through our online forms or via direct contact (WhatsApp, email). By submitting a booking request, you confirm that all provided information is accurate and complete.

3.2. Payment Options & Discounts

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Advance Payment (via Wise.com or Cryptocurrency): Eligible for a 10% discount. Guarantees your selected date and time.

  • Cash Payment on Arrival: No discount applies. Booking is “best-effort” and subject to guide/vehicle/boat availability. No time/date is guaranteed until confirmed by our team.

3.3. Pricing

All prices listed are in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without prior notice, but your confirmed booking will be honored at the rate agreed upon at the time of booking.

4. Cancellations, Refunds & Changes

4.1. Cancellation by You

  • Advance Payments: Refunds are only issued in cases of force majeure (e.g., extreme weather making the activity unsafe, government travel advisories) or if we cancel the service. Otherwise, bookings can be rescheduled subject to availability.

  • Cash on Arrival Bookings: May be canceled without financial penalty, but no service is guaranteed until payment is received and confirmed.

4.2. Cancellation by Us

We reserve the right to cancel any tour due to safety concerns, weather, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, you will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule.

5. Land Acquisition Services

The “Land Acquisition” service involves consulting and facilitation for purchasing legally titled property in São Tomé and Príncipe. We are not a real estate agency. We facilitate connections with lawyers, notaries, and government bodies. All final transactions and titles are handled directly between the buyer and the registered seller. We assume no liability for future property value, construction, or permitting beyond the scope of our explicitly stated facilitation services.

6. User Responsibilities & Conduct

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information when booking.

  • Respect local laws, customs, and the natural environment during tours.

  • Follow all safety instructions provided by our guides and captains.

  • Not use our website for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website (text, images, videos, logos, design) is the property of Turismo Paraíso na Terra LTDA or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

 

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1. Adventure Activities

Participating in 4×4 tours, boat trips, JetSki rides, and other adventures involves inherent risks. By booking, you acknowledge these risks and agree that Turismo Paraíso na Terra LTDA, its employees, and agents are not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property, except where proven to be caused by our gross negligence.

8.2. Website Use

Our website is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of this site.

9. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party sites (e.g., Wise.com, TripAdvisor). These links are provided for convenience only. We do not control these sites and are not responsible for their content or practices.

10. Privacy

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the Democratic Republic of São Tomé and Príncipe. Any disputes shall be first attempted to be resolved amicably through direct communication. Unresolved disputes may be submitted to the competent courts of São Tomé and Príncipe.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. The “Last Updated” date at the top will reflect changes. Your continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
